All Things Considered? Scientific Findings May Shed a Different Light on the Recycling of Wastewater.

By Andreas Schönborn, Editor

Is there more to consider when wastewater is recycled than we are commonly aware of? I mean, something distinctly different from nutrients, microcontaminants and fecal microorganisms?

The answer may be yes. A number of scientists are currently starting to unveil phenomena related to "information transfer" in water and food. They are working on electromagnetic effects on chemical precipitation, on imaging methods for the detection of food quality or on homeopathic effects on seedlings.

Their results are stunning. They suggest that there may be a whole new world to be discovered. Our (scientific) world may not be the same in 10 years from now.

EcoEng Newsletter 3/2000 will present some of these results. Stay tuned!
