IEES is active in various fields related to, e.g. Ecological Sanitation (EcoSan) including the reuse and recycling of organic wastes or wastewater. Furthermore IEES expertise reaches from concept development to sustainable system design, from face-to-face trainings to E-learning classes.
IEES projects include issues of sustainable landscape management, Ecological Engineering in architecture and water planning as well as renewable resource production combined to reuse of nutrients. Very recently IEES has become an industrial association group (IAG) in terms of European Union or UN projects.
